Inventory Control Specialist

Lily Mae’s is currently hiring for an Inventory Control Specialist on a full-time or part-time basis (30-40 hours/week).  Lily Maes is an all-in-one boutique, jewelry and gift store located in Wake Forest, NC with over 7000 sq ft of space. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Entry of product into QuickBooks Point-of-Sale (POS)
  • Printing tags for product as well as for specific sales
  • Prioritize order processing based on leadership guidance
  • Working with vendors on defects or shipments with missing products
  • Help with Inventory control as needed

o  Resolving inventory discrepancies in POS

o  Monitor orders to make sure they ship by the cancel date

  • Tracking of shipping charges
  • Filing of invoices
  • Ordering supplies
  • Tracking of coupons
  • Create any signs needed for in-store displays and/or sale products
  • Keep expected change and petty cash on hand by going to the bank as needed (2-3 times per week)
  • Help mentor other Inventory Control team members on standard procedures and best practices
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks when needed

 

Candidates should have the following attributes, skills and work experience: 

  • High Organized
  • Strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient with various computer programs

o  Experience working with Microsoft Outlook

o  Experience working with QuickBooks POS or other related databases

o  Basic working knowledge of Excel

o  Knowledge of PowerPoint a plus

  • Experience with Inventory Management
  • Knowledge of wholesale/retail pricing
